The verb necesitar means to need.
Necesitar is a regular -ar verb.

Yo necesito un taxi.
     I need a taxi.
Tú necesitas un pedazo de papel.
     You need a piece of paper.
Él necesita tomar una siesta.
     He needs to take a nap.
Juan necesita un lápiz.
     Juan needs a pencil.
Usted necesita este destornillador.
     You need this screwdriver. (formal)
Nosotros necesitamos leer el libro.
     We need to read the book.
    Vosotros necesitáis
     You all need (familiar - only used in Spain)
Los alumnos necesitan lápices.
     The students need pencils.

él, ella, and usted all have the same ending (necesita)
so do ellos, ellas, and ustedes (necesitan)
